GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE OF THE DOMAIN AND CHÂTEAU DU MAUNY (excluding groups and weddings, see specific CGV)

Accommodation (gîtes and guest rooms) depends on SAS DOMAINE ET CHÂTEAU DU MAUNY Siret 88884928800012, RCS of Châlon sur Saône.
Accommodation service in Gîtes and B&Bs with welcome by the owners. In the rental rates, cleaning, bed linen and towels are included. Breakfast is included in the bed and breakfast rate. Optional paid services can be booked either when booking the accommodation or on site with the owners. These services are subject to availability.
The Anny and Esope gîtes are labeled 4* furnished tourism by Atout France in 2021.
Article 1 - length of stay : The tenant signing the contract concluded for a fixed period cannot under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.
Article 2 - conclusion of the contract : The reservation becomes effective as soon as the tenant makes his deposit payment to the owner (50% by credit card or transfer).
The general conditions are accepted by the rental company with the payment of the reservation.
The rental concluded between the parties cannot under any circumstances benefit, even partially, third parties, natural or legal persons, without the written agreement of the owner.
Any violation of this last paragraph would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental at the fault of the tenant, the rental proceeds remaining definitively acquired by the owner.


Article 3 - absence of withdrawal : For reservations made by mail, telephone or internet, the tenant does not benefit from the withdrawal period, in accordance with article L121-21-8 of the Consumer Code relating in particular to the accommodation services provided. on a date or according to a specific periodicity.


Article 4 - cancellation by the tenant : Any cancellation must be notified by email or registered letter to the owner.

a) cancellation before arrival at the premises:
cancellation does not entitle the owner to a refund. The amount can be reinvested in another stay (except July-August) depending on availability.

You can take out cancellation insurance.
b) if the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. No refunds will be made.

Article 5 - cancellation by the owner : The owner pays the tenant the entire amount paid.


Article 6 - arrival-departure : The tenant must arrive on the day the stay begins between 5 and 8 p.m. In the event of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner. Departure is before 10 a.m. on the last day.


Article 7- payment of the balance : The balance of the rental is paid on site with any extras. The tenant can pay by credit card (not American Express), cash, ANCV holiday voucher. Bank checks are not accepted. The tourist tax is in addition to the rental price, it is €0.45/day per adult for guest rooms, and €0.80/day per adult for gîtes.


Article 8 - inventory : The owner shows the gîte upon the arrival of the tenants who notes its cleanliness. Cleaning is included in the rental price but the tenant must take out their household and sorting trash in the bins available in the parking lot and must store their clean dishes in the cupboards. Part of the deposit may be retained if the accommodation is returned in an abnormally dirty state. The tenant notifies the owner if objects are broken or no longer work.


Article 9 - security deposit or deposit : Upon the tenant's arrival, a security deposit of €500 will be blocked on the tenant's bank card. After the end of the stay, this deposit is released, after deduction of the cost of restoring the premises if any damage is noted.


Article 10 - use of the premises : The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the purpose of the premises. Loud and excessively alcoholic parties are prohibited.


Article 11 - capacity: The contract is established for a maximum capacity of people. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner may refuse the additional people. If the capacity is greater, a supplement may be charged for the additional person(s). Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered at the initiative of the customer and the total amount of the rental remains with the owner.


Article 12 – reception of animals : A pet is allowed in the gîtes and in 2 of the guest rooms, only after acceptance by the owner. A supplement of €15 per day is charged in addition to the rental. The owner is free to refuse access to the rental if a person arrives with a pet without having notified in advance and/or without the prior agreement of the owner. The rental amount is considered acquired by the owner. Animals must not be left alone unsupervised in accommodation. Outside, they must be kept on a leash. Inside, dogs must remain in the dining room and the entrance, access to the bedrooms and sofas is prohibited. Please respect the cleanliness and calm of the place (pick up droppings, do not bark unexpectedly). Unwanted behavior may end the rental prematurely and compensation may be levied if damage has occurred.


Article 13 - insurance : The tenant is responsible for all damage arising from his fault. You are required to be insured by a resort type insurance contract for these various risks or take out the insurance offered when booking. The owner is insured by MMA (71 Autun) in CPR and for buildings.


Article 14- disputes : Any complaint must be discussed immediately with the owner in order to find an amicable solution.
