This elegant suite takes its name from a drawing of Napoleon Bonaparte , made in the room itself by Victor Lacaille d'Esse , a renowned architect from Chalon-sur-Saône who died too young and was the brother of the chatelaine Marie-Josée. An unusual testimony to the past, this drawing has been carefully preserved and now hangs in the bathroom.
A refined and intimate space
Located on the 2nd floor of the castle , the suite opens onto a private entrance hall , guaranteeing tranquility and independence. It is composed of three separate rooms :
The master bedroom : equipped with a queen-size bed , it offers an elegant atmosphere with its fireplace and a window overlooking the castle courtyard. A small corridor leads to the second room.
The second bedroom / living room : adjustable according to your wishes, it has two single beds (90x200 cm) which can be transformed into a double bed of 180 , toad armchairs , a chest of drawers , a fireplace and a window overlooking the courtyard. A small closet houses a space dedicated to the preparation of coffee, tea or herbal teas .
A unique bathroom : a true room in its own right, it is equipped with a freestanding bathtub , installed opposite a window overlooking a majestic ash tree where squirrels often frolic. A large shower completes this space, under the imposing gaze of Napoleon on his rearing horse . The separate toilet ensures optimal comfort.
Modularity and access to the castle spaces
For stays with family or friends, the Victor suite can be combined with the Moorish room , forming a private apartment for 8 people , with the possibility of adding a baby bed . Access is via a private landing .
You also have access to the castle's large lounge , ideal for reading, sharing a friendly moment or enjoying tea or an aperitif.
Relaxation and nature within your reach
On sunny days, enjoy the 2-hectare park , sit on a bench, a chair or a hammock , and let yourself be lulled by the serenity of the place. The swimming pool , located just behind the castle, awaits you for a refreshing break.
